What is ElectroPulse?
Electrocoagulation, or “EC,” is a wastewater and industrial processed water treatment method. “Electro” refers to applying an electrical charge to water in a controlled environment, and “coagulation” is the process of ionizing then separating the particles in the water. These particles, accepting a positive or negative charge, bond together like magnets to form an agglomeration easy to separate from the clear water.
“ElectroPulse” is OilTrap Environmental’s system that employs electrocoagulation to treat a wide variety of contaminants in steps:
1) Coagulation
2) Oxidation
3) Aeration.
The ElectroPulse system does not require the use of chemicals, nor does it inject any air or other gases. This new generation of waste water treatment can process up to 200 gallons per minute to a quality able to recycle or discharge to a sanitary sewer. Need a solution that is cost, time, AND space efficient? Average treatment cost with ElectroPulse technology is between $0.002 – $0.005 per gallon: on average, $2 per 1,000 gallons. There are no filters to clean or replace on our fully automated systems. Additionally, we understand floor space is valuable and pride ourselves in customization of the ElectroPulse systems in cargo containers to meet your space limitations.
